We at Packaging Services Industries, Inc. (PSI) would like to take a moment to reflect on our history and journey. It all began in January of 1976 when our President and Founder, Vernon Litzinger, started a small family operation that has since grown to 3 locations, 300 employees, and thousands of overjoyed customers.
Vernon combined his experience in engineering, sales, and business to build PSI into the company it is today. Thanks to product innovation, exceptional customer service, state-of-the-art equipment, involved employees and on-time delivery capabilities, PSI has become a dominant force in the corrugated box marketplace.
PSI prides itself on being a family led company. While Vernon continues to be active in the company and focuses his time on research, development, and purchasing new equipment, son Chris Litzinger serves as Vice President and grandson, Taylor Litzinger is entering his fifth year as an outside sales representative.
In addition, PSI has extraordinary tenure as the majority of the leadership team has been with the company for a decade or more. This level of dedication and loyalty is a testament to the culture at PSI, which has created an environment in which employees feel valued, supported, and rewarded for their hard work.
This leadership structure has fostered a culture of loyalty, trust, and a deep sense of commitment to the organization’s success.
