Packaging Services Industries (referred to as PSI or PSI Group) consists of three corporations. Packaging Services of Maryland Inc. was formed in 1976 and is located in Williamsport, MD. It consists of 282,000 square feet of work space and serves as the corporate headquarters for PSI Group.

PSI Packaging Services, Inc., formed in 1982, consists of a 91,000 square foot facility located in Connellsville, PA. As PSI continued to outgrow these two facilities and branch out, PSI Container Inc. was then formed in 1995 in McAdoo, PA.

PSI has grown into a leading force in the corrugated box marketplace. The company credits its success to product innovation, exceptional customer service, product quality, state-of-the-art equipment, dedicated employees, and on-time delivery capabilities.

PSI has uniquely positioned itself for the 21st century. The workforce totaling approximately 400, is stable and skilled, providing a quality product and a high level of service.

PSI’s story began with a vision to deliver reliable, high-quality packaging solutions. Over the decades, that vision has evolved into a legacy of innovation, strong partnerships, and continuous progress. Guided by dedicated leadership and the people who power our daily operations, PSI has grown alongside the industries we serve. Today, that foundation continues to drive forward-thinking packaging solutions that support sustainability and productivity.

PSI’s design capabilities, along with state of the art box-making equipment allows for quick turn around to over 2,000 customers, ranging from companies achieving $1 billion in annual sales to small, family owned enterprises.

PSI operates in a highly competitive marketplace. However, since 1990, total annual sales have increased between 5 to 10 percent each year. Product offerings include corrugated packaging, foam packaging, packaging supplies, as well as glass cutting and packaging.

Poised to grow, PSI is constantly striving to identify opportunities to better serve our customers and to supply an ever-growing base of customers with a broad range of products and services.

In a very short timeframe, the PSI team took our initial concepts, translated them into detailed drawings, incorporated design updates, and ultimately delivered both a prototype and 45 production racks. The result has been a standardized solution that is already enabling us to efficiently store up to 270 blades.
