New Equipment
At PSI, we continue to invest in equipment that helps us deliver faster turnaround times, consistent quality, and greater value for our customers. This year, we installed the BGM CL 13/32, one of four new machines added to our production floor. This flexo folder-gluer includes a full die-cutting section, offers three-color printing, and can run up to 15,000 boxes per hour—significantly increasing our capacity.
The machine’s three-step folding system helps ensure every box is folded accurately and cleanly, even at high speeds. To make the process even more efficient, the BGM works with an inline bundler and CORRPAL palletizer, allowing us to automatically bundle and palletize orders without manual handling.

Awards & Recognition
We’re proud to congratulate John Fix on being named the Ryder System, Inc. Driver of the Month—a well-earned honor that reflects his exceptional safety, reliability, and professionalism.
As our only remote-based driver, John communicates seamlessly with our leadership team, keeps shipments on schedule, and consistently supports fellow drivers and dispatch with routing needs. His dedication makes him an invaluable part of our operation, and we’re thrilled to celebrate his achievement.

Empowering the Next Generation
This year, we continued our commitment to supporting the next generation of packaging professionals through our ongoing partnership with Virginia Tech’s Packaging Systems and Design program. A team of five seniors collaborated with PSI on a real-world capstone project, developing a fully sustainable, e-commerce-ready packaging solution for a premium stainless-steel cookware set. Their final design delivered major sustainability improvements, enhanced pallet efficiency, and a refined unboxing experience—all while meeting strict structural requirements. We are proud of the innovation and expertise these students brought to the challenge!

Earlier this year, PSI team members, Chris Litzinger and Molly Trinh, attended the Virginia Tech Packaging Career Fair, connecting with students passionate about design, sustainability, and engineering. We’re grateful for our ongoing relationship with the program, allowing us to connect with emerging professionals like Greg and Molly, who bring innovation and new insights to our team.

Giving Back to Our Community
This holiday season, PSI continued its tradition of supporting the communities we call home by hosting coat drives at all three of our facilities. Through partnerships with Children In Need, Hazleton Helps, and Connellsville Area Community Ministries, our teams collected new and gently used coats, hats, and gloves to help local families stay warm this winter.
